Stayed for over a week. The place ıs around the corner to all the major sıghts you probably want to vısıt; Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and so on. The staff were very helpful - even let me use my little field-kitchen on the terrace with a classıc panorama vıew of the Bosphorus.

A good hostel. Located 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque and 10 from the metro. Close to bars and restaurants which means some noise until late. The dorm rooms do not have aircon but a ceiling fan, so hot nights during summer. Generally clean although dorm floors need cleaning more often. There was a lot of noise from building work on a neighbouring building. Staff friendly and helpful. Using the metro from the airport is pretty easy but some walking involved each end and between lines.

It was a good hostel. They just recently did a complete renovation, so everything is nice and new. The building next door is currently under construction, so you may get woken up to the sound of jackhammers, drills, and saws over the next few months....but that will apply to all the other hostels in the Sultanahmet area also (they're all right next door to each other).

This hostel is in the middle of Istanbul´s attractions and are reachable to almost all of them by walking... The staff are very friendly and helping you as much as they can. Toilets and baths are very clean as well. Internet use and wireless access are free of charge.

very friendly staff!!!!...not the cheapest price among all but it's worthy!! the dorm is very big...but one thing might have to improve is the toilets in the dorm...(which is totally no problem for the toilets upstairs)...we miss the time staying in big apple so much...the view in the terrace...the breakfast there...excellent! nobody would make you feel uncomfortable...you don't even have to pay first...nobody is talking about the money all the time...!!highly recommend everyone to go!

For the first time in Istanbul, this hostel was good enough. The staff were friendly, and the location was excellent. I stayed in a 14-bed dorm on the ground floor, it seemed that only one bathroom for 14 people was not enogh. They have 3 computers in the lobby, but it did not work sometimes.
