  • We were very happy to stay at Black Sheep hostel and it made our stay in Budapest perfect. The hostel is very cosy and has a nice lounge area and a kitchen where you can meet other backpackers. The staff is very friendly and helped us well with all our questions. There is plenty of space in the rooms and we had a cute little balcony.

  • The personal were really nice - they helped a lot and told about places to go both at day and night. Especially Anna were very talkative and open to us, when we visited durind the end of june! A really nice place to go, if you want to stay at a small hostel with nice people and a good mix of backpackers from different countries.

  • Friendly staffs, nice breakfast; but served only after 8:30,which is quite late if you need an early start. Overall, very nice. The guests were all friendly, creating a nice atmosphere.

  • The hostel was an ok place. Staff was great and really helpful. The location was awesome. We were able to walk everywhere we needed. Bathrooms were a bit dirty (mostly the floors) but bearable. The hostel is on the 5th floor but there is a lift. I was terrified to use it at first by finally gave in and it felt pretty safe. It was pretty noisy all night and the shades on the windows provided no shade at all. Don't expect to get much sleep. They do offer pretty nice towels and have umbrellas!
