I was expecting alot worse for 11 euro a night, but turned out to be ok. We ended up staying 5 nights as there is heaps to do in bled and surrounding places. The only bad point is security is very poor, the is nowhere to lock valuables as a result my ipod went missing! Winston, from Australia ~ 17th Sep 2009

Its a decent hostel, good for the price. If you're looking for just a cheap place to stay while in Bled, this is your place. If you want common rooms, kitchen, etc., pay more and go somewhere else. Alexandra, from USA ~ 8th Aug 2009

Great location in a great little town. The owner-manager made me feel like home and even bought me a beer. Cheers! The hostel is half rooms (which are clean and quiet) and half cafe-bar. Interesting mix, but it works. A must stop through Slovenia. Izzy, from USA ~ 26th Jul 2009

It was a bit hard to find, and they hadn't received our booking through hostels.com. Anyway it was all fine, and we were alone at the hostel. Got all needs, no breakfast, but none needed either. Reception in bar. There's another hostel in the same building, just around the corner (which name is quite similar to the reception bar). Good hostel with a location within walking distance of the lake and right by the bus station. A rooster lived across the street. I believe the hostel may be near Neverland - every person I saw there was under 30 years old - they were up playing foosball and drinking at 8 in the morning. We enjoyed our stay here - it was perfect for what it is - and much cleaner than you might expect for so cheap - everything was immaculately clean inside the room and bathroom and freshly painted. No lockers in room, so that was the reasoning behind the low security rating. The staff though were really very helpful and friendly and it's right off of the lake so you are perfectly situated to do anything that Bled has to offer! Shannon, from USA ~ 25th Jun 2009
