I stayed for one night here and found all the staff very friendly and helpful - The tuk tuk driver even got up at 6am to take me to the airport! The room was very basic, but clean as were the shower/toilet. The lounge area is very spacious and comfortable. Free wifi. Were to spend 4 days at Blue Dog, ended by staying about a month. Really friendly staff, good food and good value for money. Rooms are simple but like I said, good value for the money. My room was really hot and the fan was on all of the time. Had another room for a while which was much cooler. Shared bathroom but you get used to it. This hostel is a nice hostel. Rooms are very basic but fine for what you pay for. Location is good, near st278 which is a large expat and backpackers area. I would stay here again. A huge let down. 1st they double booked our room so instead of twin beds we had to share a double and then told they dont even have twin rooms which they advertise on the website. 2) every morning around 7am their child is screaming and being so loud that you can't sleep. 3) we got our laundry done and they ruined all our white clothes by staining them blue, no way to fix that.4) we got the hostel tuk tuk driver to take us around and he totally forgot to come pick us up Would NOT go again EVER Lindsay, from Canada ~ 1st Aug 2011
