You should really try to improve the standard of the hostel --> everything is broken and in very bad conditions. Though I enjoyed the stay, it's the worst backpackers I saw in Southafrica!!! Sorry!!

This is a great place if you're into the party scene. The night life around the Hostel is strong. If you're trying to get to sleep before 4am, you need to stay some place else. Also, parking on the street is limited and costs a lot.

it seemed a little overpriced but i later came to find all accomidation in cape town city bowl is overpriced. a few things could have been better like some fans and tvs in the rooms. just my 2 cents.

great location!! love long street! wish there was a bar there, but at the sister backpacker (carnival court) there is a great bar! and the staff is great...very helpful!

Thanks guys for the fantastic times in the hostel. It was a refreshing getaway from my otherwise hectic life. If i ever come to Cape Town again i will be staying in my favorite place, blue mountian backpackers rules thanks to Sheldon, Fatima and Dave you're great

A great hostel - highly recommended to the younger visitor. Right opposite Cool Runnings night club which means it's really noisy until about 4am.... I guess if you're tired enough you'll get sleep!!
