The Blue Parrot is a great hostel that's only a 20 minute walk from the centre of Sydney. It's the cleanist hostel i've ever stayed in - the kitchen is always spotless - and the lounge area is comfortable with a huge flat screen tv! It was very quiet when i stayed but that's because a large group had cancelled so the place was half empty. But all in all one of the best hostels that i've stayed in and would recommend to anyone!

Sasha who works at the front desk was amazing. So helpful and adorable. She told us all the best clubs to go to every night and they were all good suggestions!
The hostel is in a great location and the staff are extremelt friendly.....was supposed to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for a week. Its a great place to meet people.

Really nice place to stay, stayed at a different hostel at Kings Cross for a few days first and this is worlds apart. would definately come back here, staff are friendly and helpful and the whole hostel just has a great atmosphere!

not 2 bad,the cleanliness?people that r stayn do the cleaning accomodation,cleaner obviously wasnt motivated,wasnt clean at all,quick mop on the floor and thats it!guests were bringing randoms that were not even staying at the hostel in the middle of the night to 8 bed dorm, not amusing! and when a guy wnt to tell who was in charge.was a guy staying at the hostel manning the reception again for accomodation who couldnt have cared less!! not a good experience all round unfortunately!
