Absolutely loved staying at the blue skies!! While it was a bit further away from the center of London, the buses were convenient, and the train station 10 steps away takes you straight to London Bridge. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the breakfast, while a little underwhelming, worked!Room was spacious and the people were uber-friendly!We would definitely go back to blue skies again!! It's a bar rather than a hostel, really noisy, and there is no heating Yujun, from China ~ 4th Jan 2012

Pros: 1) Cheap 2) Right next to national rail station and very very close to 24 hr bus route. 3) Inexpensive full English breakfast Cons: 1) It's right above a bar and no surprise, it gets loud on weekends (not too bad as long as you can wear earplugs and you are not a super light sleeper) 2) A tad on the dirty side. Sometimes bar patrons will wonder upstairs to use the washrooms. 3) Wifi didn't work 50% of the time Edward, from Canada ~ 23rd Sep 2011

The rooms were obviously not cleaned for weeks, and there were a lot of flies in my room during the day. Something I've never experienced at ANY hostels I've stayed in. Also the doors make a really big noise, so if you want a good night sleep, you may want to choose a different place. Shiori, from Japan ~ 28th Jul 2011

It's really like a bar next to a rail station. I wasn't able to find the front desk...The bathroom is not clean and the light was off in 2 of the 3 toilets. I don't like this hostel at all. The breakfast surprised me a lot...there's only some bread, milk, butter, and strawberry jam for you to get in the kitchen on your own, which is quite SIMPLE compared to what I had before....The worst thing is, a group of people smoked in the kitchen...I hate that smell...one more, the internet didn't work... Located right next to a train station, it is only 10 minutes to London Bridge Tube. From there the Tube is very easy to get around. The price is fantastic and it IS a hostel, so don\\\'t expect the comforts of a hotel. There is a nice kitchen area a fridge. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. I would stay there again without hesitaion. Katherine, from USA ~ 11th Jul 2011

Blue Skies is definitely not the nicest hostel you will ever stay in, but I still had fun there! The people staying there were all very welcoming. The staff kinda checks you in and then you never see them again. The security is pretty bad, but I still felt safe leaving my stuff laying around. The location is pretty bad. It takes like 30 minutes to get into the London, but it literally is right next to the station. Laura, from USA ~ 20th Jul 2011

Blue Skies was confortable, funny and memorable. Not just a place to sleep in, but a part of our whole London-experience. Thank you for everything! Regards from Finland :) Katri, from Finland ~ 25th Jun 2011
