Bob Marley House Hostel in Luxor, Egypt

This hostel does not exist, we spent over 1 1/2 hours trying to find it, we asked several locals, and we went to the tourist info centre - NOBODY knew about this place or the street name. Luxor is a very small place and we walked up and down the city several times. We stayed in another hotel in Television st, there is not Badr street off Television street, I can assure you that! This is the best experience i have ever had at any hostel in the world. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It doesnt matter if it is 8:00am, 4:20, 1:00am; the staff is always there to provide you with whatever you need. So much more than just a regular hostel, it is more like staying at a friends house. The staff is not out to try and take all your money like so much of the competition. The young staff genuinely cares about you and tries to save you money any way they can. if u like to have fun and meet new people than stay here!the whole place is vibrant and just makes u feel happy! the rooftop is great to eat, sleep,chill, and has a great view.the location is great.u can walk from the train station and to lots of local restaurants and shops.the staff is very helpful and honest.i would suggest booking tours through them..the prices are very fair.everything was clean! and the breakfast was the best that i have had at a hostel! The Bob Marley house was awesome! We had a great time hanging out on the roof listening to Bob Marley music! The staff were really helpful and as two girls traveling alone we felt completely safe there. Thanks for a fantastic time:) Anne, from Canada ~ 2nd Mar 2009
