  • The hostel is very nicely furnitured and decorated. It appears more like a private apartment, and it probably is, because I learned that the family of the owner is also somehow living there. Everything is a bit chaotic and the owner(s) don't speak English (probably only Italian). The atmosphere is very nice, but I wouldn't leave any valuables in my room. E.g. after a few nights, someone else had suddenly occupied my locked room to use the TV there and me and my stuff were moved to another room.

  • DO NOT STAY HERE 1 month after booking and 3 weeks prior to our stay the hostel cancelled citing there were no rooms available at the price we had purchased, despite us having purchased them from the site (i.e. you can't purchase unavailable rooms). Upon investigation we discovered there was a massive architecture convention that week and the hostel was blatantly profiteering by raising their prices. Still have not received refund of deposit.

  • So much character!! A really charming hostel. Family run business so it is really relaxed. the old lady was so sweet, although was really tricky communicating as both her and the guy speak NO english, and insisted on having conversations in italian. id definitely recommend a phrase book.

  • Although the owner and her son were very kind and dilligent, the thing is this place doesn't feel very secure: the doors seem easy to break into, and the overall feel is that it's a family amateur business. Apart from that, and if you don't mind sleeping in a couch in the kitchen, this place is great: it's only 7 minutes walk from the center. Other info: the bathrooms are shared, and there're 2 for 5-6 people - in the morning, it can be a problem.

  • This was a nightmare. The old lady who owns this "bed and breakfast" is completely incomprehensible. Don't expect breakfast because her bed is in the kitchen. The B&B is actually her apartment. A couple times she just opened my door and walked into my room while I was in there. She messed up my reservation and wouldn't return my money, then tried to cancel my other reservation at a real hotel without asking me. She is a swindler and a liar and has to rely on her bitchy daughter to translate.

  • The "bed" was a unfolded sofa and the room, a kitchen!

  • An old lady took care of the place (three bedrooms and her own room), but didn´t speak English almost at all. Everything went well with us, but two other travellers had problems with check-in. The lady appeared to the house 4 hours late and the couple had to wait all the time. In other occation a traveller had agreed with the lady to chek-in at 2 at night but the lady didn´t open the door so he had to find another place to sleep in a middle of the night...
