This hostel is nothing spesial. It could be OK for a night to sleep, but its not clean ( Especially the kitchen), and the swimmingpool is dirty and very smaal. Either I was not happy with the common facilities. DVD player was broken, and only the staff occupied the TV all the time. Staff often has their own friends there using the facilities etc.( Homework, making noise and drinking). But they were mostly nice and friendly. No security lockers. But it felt safe if You hide Your stuff in your bag. The location is ok.

The staff at Botafogo easy hostel are generally very helpful and it´s a nice place to chill out before during the day and early night before the heavy drinking begins!
Had a fantastic stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will recommend to any traveller.
