Very nice staff - very helpful and cheerful and ready to help. nice clean beds and bathrooms. Lovely breakfast - first hostel to give hot fresh pancakes!A hundred points just for that. Nice location too. But no hot showers and the lockers are too small - couldnt put my tiny netbook in. And one night I had to stand at the door for 30 minutes alone at 1.00 am till the door was opened - after I asked a cabbie for help to call the hostel. But I am sure thats not usual. Excelent Hostel!. Great staff!! They really have great breakfast. I definately recommend working there for a cheap stay and awesome experience, all it was nice Hot water in the shower. Clean bathroom. Clean kitchen and interesting games to play. no city noise. Common room with hot and free tea or cofee and cable tv. The Hostel was excellent is located in the center of Puno a only two Blocks, Very nice staff. clean kitchen and interesting games to play, Hot water in the shower. They help you arrange tours. Perfect hostel to relax, no city noise. Common room with hot and free tea or cofee and cable tv. Clean bathroom. I think it's the best hostel in Puno. I not know why people put comments not very good, if the hotel is very nice clean, The Staff is nice, the days that I was everything it was perfect, I enjoyed the Hostel, Hot water in the shower. I made reservations, I showed up, no one was there to open the door. Stood outside in the dark for 20 minutes and then gave up and found another hostel. E-mailed the hostel twice to make sure I wouldn't be charged for the full night - deposit already lost. Never responded. Finally I called from locutorio - lady barely spoke a work of English and not very helpful. I wasn't charged - at least I don't think. No apology. Very frustrating/disappointing/annoying. Recommend Hostel Vylena near The Po April, from USA ~ 20th Jan 2012
