The hostel is fine, but the area is quite dangerous, I'm afraid. I would recommend another. Agustín, from Argentina ~ 15th Feb 2012

The private bathroom was unable and we can't remain in the hostel. The staff (a girl) wasn't gentle. Luiz Augusto, from Brazil ~ 9th Feb 2012

The hostel was good for meeting other travelers. There was a nice hangout room and lots going on during the day and evening. The location was great too and walking distance from the major sites. The washrooms are really dirty so make sure you bring slippers for the shower. Also, I am nearly positive that the red marks I had all over my body were from bed bugs in the hostel. I cannot confirm it as I didn't see them, but it was definitely not from mosquitoes. Onur, from Canada ~ 2nd Feb 2012

This place was awesome! Ive stayed in many hostels all around the world and this was one of my favorites. There is a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and had great knowledge and recommendations of the area. They also speak both english and spanish well which makes it rewarding for multiple nationality's. Kellie, from USA ~ 23rd Aug 2011

It was a very good experience arriving in Montevideo. This hostel offers the necessary for travellers: clean rooms and a nice place to come back after a long day in Montevideo! Fernanda, from Brazil ~ 13th Aug 2011

We really had a great time at this hostel!! The staff were really friendly, spoke great english and had really good info on everything around. The kitchen was clean and well equiped. The rooms were big and clean and the bathrooms were good aswell. The chill out area of the hostel is great with little balconies all around and the breakfast was plentiful. There were a few mosquitos around at night but that´s just Montevideo. It´s in a nice central part of the city and the bus systems good too. N clementine, from France ~ 23rd Feb 2011
