I booked online a couple of days ahead and made a security deposit. When we arrived they had over booked us and split the three of us up telling us that we could get the room that we booked (4 bed dorm) the next day. They could not get us the room the next day and still charged us full price for the rooms (8 bed dorms) plus the original deposit I had paid, which they refused to return. Instead they offered us free breakfast for 3 people, which wasn't a bad deal according to the price. But the breakfast sucked, the beans were horrendous, the Snags seemed a year too old, the fruit a few days old. Overall not a good expericance

It smells, and although we booked a female dorm there was no chance to get one. So we had to sleep next to three snoring guys!

This place could have been a nice one, with a good bar and facilities but we found that the staff was nor nice neither professionnal. We couldn't have the room we had booked, but it seems that nobody was in the type of room they booked. It was a real mess and we were even awoken in the night by the staff because of their mistakes.

The Australian staff were amazing but the one girl staff that stayed in my room was very rude (blonde hair girl in kitchen called joanna I think it was...I really wish that they had put all the staff in one room...the air con didnt work...
Very lively, noisy full of under 25's. Pretty expensive but thats the east coast for ya! Room was cool tho, had a tv and ensuite with half decent shower. Food there is quite nice, good brekkie!

On the website it stated that it would have 24 hour reception but when we got there the door was closed and the only way in was to use a key which we didnt have. Luckily, there was a drunk girl outside which alerted the off duty person. We were not given any blankets and the shower was pretty gross. I wouldn't walk on the florr without shoes on because it didn't look like it had been swept in weeks. It was realitvely quiet but I wouldn't stay here again.

nice hostel, cheap drink, good food and very clean. staff werent in your face like in some hostels!!
If you like Benidorm and lots of very rude pikeys then you'll love this hostel. However if you don't want to queue for everything, sleep in dirty sheets and get woken up at 4am then don't stay here!
