Room was basic but clean.Hostel is on busy street but room was quiet. Convenient location. Bathrooms looked new and spotless. Hostel seemed quite busy so probably good to book in advance. Friendly, helpful staff. Jennifer, from Australia ~ 1st Dec 2011

Cockroaches everywhere- esepeically the kitchen and dining area.This hostel is appalling- I don't why there are reviews saying otherwise. It's hot, noisy and dirty (especially the kitchen). My bed was broken- it took several days to fix and should never have been given to me in the first place.The carpet looks like it was nicked from a crackhouse. The sanitary bins in the ladies loo were overflowing and the 'TV room' was a joke. You'd be better off homeless than staying at this hole. Amandeep, from England ~ 11th Dec 2011

It would be good if the duvets are sunned or washed regularly. Please notify travelers that they need to bring a small lock for the cupboards. The kitchen is bustling with life and good to meet new people. There's a small bar downstairs too. The sound proofing is excellent: I could barely hear any noise in my room on the 1st floor. This hostel is really simple, only 4 walls and bed, that's all. There is no tables, no chairs, no cupboards. But if you just need a bed then it's ok. But within 3 nights, nobody was cleaning the room. Erkki, from Estonia ~ 1st Jun 2011
