misleading advertisements, room was dull and wall was stained with water leakage. lights were constantly on and people constantly noisy with light constantly streaming in from the corridor.

this place is a disgrace. filthy room: markings on wall and sheets, light switches, doors. carpets were filthy. bathrooms were clean though. internet available. kitchen was ok if a touch pokey (its like a corridor). overall the place is filthy and should be avoided at all costs

There is nothing wrong with this hostel as such. It just lacks a bit of personality, and they messed up our booking resulting in the two of us being split up into two separate rooms. More annoying than really a problem.

After booking online more than 4 weeks prior and paying my deposit, i arrived at the hostel after being on the road for 12+ hours, only to be told there was no bed for me. To top it off, it was the busiest weekend of the year and everything else was booked solid (thats why i booked well in Advance). I ended up having tp pay $210 PER night for the 3 nights i was there, a far cry from the $37/night that i had budgeted for. This oversight/incompetence is just not acceptable. Being thrown on the street at 8pm on a friday night with no where to stay is not acceptable. I am disgusted by the poor service both at Hostels.com and the staff ar Britannia on William. I would like some answers as to what the fcuk happened to my booking. If someone has booked, has the booking number, has paid their deposit, then there should be NO EXCUSE for not accomodating them. An offer of a refund is by far no means a solution to this problem. I would like some feedback from hostels.com on this matter.

Room was like a cell with no window and there was only one tumble drier for 70 odd rooms (the other was broken). Apart from that it was OK. Good location and clean.

A very good and clean hostel. Sometimes it was just a little bit loud in the night, because of the music in the courtyard.

It is in a good location if you want to be near the station and in a vey lively part of the city.
