  • We enjoyed our stays there. They provided the stuffs you need indeed, including the hot water, toaster, oven, microwave.....and so on, everything was clean. Besides, the hair dryer was available for request. Near the hostel, there is one Westside Market, you can buy the foods over there, very convenient. I will definitely choose this hostel again at my next trip.

  • Nice, clean place for budget travelers. Not fancy but great if your hotel isn't supposed to be part of the experience. Great location for visitors of Columbia University. 20-45 mins to lower Manhattan by subway, depending on destination and time of day.

  • I wish all the bathroom is more renovated. I live on 4th floor. One of the bathroom was more updated and one of the bathroom is old and disgusting.

  • I enjoyed my stay. The bathroom are very clean with hot water. Bedrooms are very good, organized every day and with heat system. I had clean towels every day and the bed linen had good smell. Close of subway station and next to very places to eat good food. I definitely will back to Broadway hostel when I back to New York. Good internet and nice collective tv place.

  • The location was excellent and the building is very nice! The room wasn't soundproof at all and there were a lot of clonks and clanks in the night as well as sounds from the street. Warm water in the shower was available only sporadically. The room was clean and comfortable except for the loud sounds that woke me up almost every night. At the reception there was one really nice and helpful guy that made us feel very welcome! Other than that, the staff didn't exactly make an impression.

  • Wow! I'll definitely return to that place! Due to lack of availability for my first night in NY, I stayed one night in the 'Hostelling International New York' just up two streets. It was a stuffy (actually, very smelly) male 12 dorm for 45$. Therefore, my expectations towards the Boradway Hostel were not very high but I encountered one great pleasant surprise after the other: very friendly staff, 2-bed room with sink/water, clean and bright for only 35$. Just wow! Awesome place. Thank you!

  • The hostal was great. I stayed there for 3 nights starting January 20th. The staff was very friendly, helped locate different areas of interest in New York City. The lounge area is very relaxing and is a great area to meet fellow travelers. It is two blocks away from the subway, and five blocks away from a bus stop that goes all the way to La Guardia airport. I stayed in a private room, had two beds and had to pay for both beds, but it was still a very reasonable price for NYC.

  • The staff is not friendly, they made a mistake with my reservation and moved me and my friends to another hotel with no explanation, I sent an email asking for an explanation and is time I am still waiting to the response. It is expensive and they are not nice people, except for one guy who is in the midnight
