Brufut Motel is not for the faint-hearted, no electricity or hot water but is traditional accommodation. Amadouh will run you around and grab you bites to eat etc (check prices before you go or order). Bar and restaraunt not open due to a lack of guests. Its a 20-30 min walk along the beach to bars and restaraunts/internet etc. Solomon at The Bamboo Bar is a great cook and keeps the beach hasslers away all day (turn right at the beach and keep going).

the hotel was in a good location and it was clean, though i have to say that for a female traveller alone, make sure you get keys to your room so you are able to lock your door for privacy and security. the toilet and shower is shared and if you are on a budget it is best to eat out locally as you can get cheap food in different places but it is convenient to eat in the motel but you will have to find out the price first before deciding if you want to eat there. also its best to make a reservation at this motel as you will know exactly what yu will be paying beforehand, as another traveller who didn't make a reservation who went to the hotel with me was charged more than i was, and was also charged more for the meals. where a much higher standard accomodation in gunjur provided meals tat were cheaper than this motel. so i would only recommend staying here for a couple of days maximum as there are cheaper places that are not advertised on the internet that always have rooms. overall it was a nice little motel with friendly staff.
