This hostel will hit you with all the hidden fees in the book. From 5% for paying with card, to £15 for checking in on sunday and £25 for checking in after hours (apparently after hours are not the hours listed on the web but are supplied by email after your initial deposit.) Although these fees may seem resonable if not a little expensive, it was not appreciated to be told after making an initial depostit.

I was unhappy with my stay. Your staff are rude!! And the hostel wasnt clean one of the bathroom was blocked for a number of days. The phone did not work, when reported to staff she was rude as if i should know the answer to when BT should arrive. Problems with the computer. When i arrived i was given double sheets and was told i would be given single sheets the day after that didnt happen and the sheets have a lock on them. I know that these are small little problems but if you dont know about them nothing will be done about it. I moved hostels mainly because of the staff. i stayed in this hostel back in April and your standards have really dropped since then, it doesnt have the same feel about it and others staying at the hostel feel the same way about the staff. Thank you

Excellent location for getting around London, flat clean and plenty of hot water...
The no adress thing is slightly confusing, especially if you've just come off a ten hour flight, but figured it all out in the end.
Ended up with a double room, instead of the twin room I had booked though. (But there was no price difference)
Watch out for the hidden fees, read your contract VERY carefully...ie you have to strip the bed yourself, otherwise you get charged!

I think that the deposit of 100 pounds is very expensive when we stay just one week like me. My mother let it on her cerdit card, and for now, we can't be sure that we'll have it again. 100 pounds is 220$ for us, and it't a lot of money !!!
Maybe the kitchen could have more equipments like glass to drink water, saop to wash dishes etc.
Thank you so much, we had a very nice trip !

Laundry washer & dryer price changed from night to night and the dryer didn't dry the clothes. The kitchen needed a frying pan and drinking glasses in addition to coffee mugs. The patio door had to be forced to lock, needs adjusted. The room needs to be repainted. I loved the hardwood floors. Bathroom needs tile instead of carpet and something to catch the water that pours out from the sink.

I've stayed in hostels in over 45 different countries and Buget London is second on my list. A place is Canada is number one but I will be back, its a great place to stay. Clean, tidy and safe everything a backpacker needs. Thank you

Not a whole lot like the website advertised. In fact, only really somewhere to stay if you're looking for the bare minimum and don't mind trusting the strangers who are your roommates as there's nowhere to lock anything up! The lockers don't close, are tiny, and house such useful things as mouldy jam and a can of Pepsi Max! Wouldn't recommend it here...
