This guesthouse was great. Damir and his mother (who both run the place) are amazingly nice, helpful and fun. The house and rooms were clean and the bathroom was huge and always had plenty of clean towels. The location was great - right next to the Old Town and a few minutes of walking to the beach or to the bus/train/ferry stations.

Damir met us on our arrival and showed us to our room, very good english and he was very helpful and friendly. The stairs were a bit diffucult with the suitcase but the room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was GORGEOUS! the bathroom was also very clean and very fresh and newly renovated. I would definietly use this guesthouse again for its location, right beside the town harbour/bus station and plaza! Overall, a very pleasant stay

If you a typical backpacker than this place would be best for you.. The flight of stairs is a killer and if you have big suitcases I would advise you to go to a hotel with an elevator. Great Location and very clean private rooms..
This may be one of the best little rooms I have ever had. The bed was comfy, the AC was strong and the shower was good. I would recommend it. Fun is average but I was not looking for fun so thats fine!

Right across the street from the main downtown marina area, bus stop, and Diocletians Palace so it was in a very good location.
Very friendly staff. Excellent location 5 min walk to main sights of Split and waterfront. 24 bakery/store next door. Just a family apartment so very simple. Cable TV with quite a few English channels.
Perfect place to stay! Right next to the historical part, really clean and the owner is really nice!! Not to mention the price is really reasonable! Definitelly the place to stay!
I recommend the Guesthouse to french people who would like to go in Split !

Hard to rate this one on things such as 'fun' because who stays in a hostel looking for fun! Surely that's the part you find outside the hostel.. Anyway, this hostel was just perfect for 2 girls travelling alone, not only because of great location but because it was small (it seemed as if there is only one guest room so we were the only visitors but i might be wrong) and run by an approachable local guy who spoke excellent English (always a bonus for us lazylingoed English folk) and his mother lived there too so felt very safe. Its situated above a 24hr bakery which is great after a few drinks or in the morning, and its only 5min walk to the harbour or to the old part (the beautiful part) of town. If youre looking to hook up with loads of other travellers then this probably isnt the place for you but if you want somewhere convenient, cute and reliable and go for it :)
