very nice breakfast. the cabin dorm was alright, not great. it was unbearably hot though it had a fan, but that didn't help much without aircon. I would still recommend the place as it is in a nice setting and quiet. if you wanna party, this is not the place. there are buses going to town, but they stop around 11pm. if you want a nice and quiet stay, this is a good choice. Enjoyed my stay, it was just what I was looking for after my trip around the Whitsundays: peace and quiet. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and full of smiles. Room was good, but could have done without having to put 1$ in for the air con. If you are looking for a quiet place in Airlie Beach and want to get away from the evening partying, then look no further. Not the cheapest, but very low-key and relaxing. It was probably the best hostel so far in 8 weeks of travelling. It was not a lively party hostel but the staff were really friendly and helpful and it was very clean. The surroundings were beautiful- we saw possums and parrots and there is a bay full of turtles over the road. There is a bus that runs to the main town very frequently. Highly recommend this hostel!!
