Not much to recommend this place. Noisy, both from thin walls and being right next to rail tracks. Also about 8 floors of rooms with only one shower each in the entire hotel for men and women; advertised as a 24 hour shower, mainly because the only time there isn't a queue for it is about 3 in the morning.

A very nice hostel worth the price. Almost the whole staff was very helpful and nice. Sometimes we had a couple of communications problems due to the lack of english speakers, but as an overall, very nice.
Nice place! Clean, but the location is a little bit inconvenient

There are heaps of great little places to go nearby including spa world, we are heading back there before we return home

I stayed at chuo new annex from 12/27 - 1/1 and it was great. The rooms were small but cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and could speak english and korean. The only gripe is they only have one 24 hour shower room which is a pain if someone has to use it. Also, there is no hot water on the sinks if you use the public toilets. Other than that the place was amazing. Extremely close to the station which is on the JR osaka loop line as well as the midosuji (i think that`s what it was) subway line.

Nice simple hostel/hotel with cheap prices for double and single rooms. I stayed 4 nights in a single room which had an TV, VCR and a small fridge (very usefull!). Plus: +fridge +next to a subway station +close to a train station +sandals, towel and bath robe included +free coffee in the mornings +no curfew +videos to borrow for free to watch in your room Minus: +only one shower in the 1st floor (I stayed in 3rd) +not very soundproof +trains made noice early in the morning +staff didn't speak English well +not very soundproof +far from bars/nightlife Conclusion: Quite a nice/ok place if you just want to just sleep alone (or with a friend) for a cheap price. Nothing too bad or good.
Dodgy Neighboorhood but 1 minute walk from the station so not really an issue. Spacious room, impeccable shower and baths and bathroom. Free 24h internet and videocasettes. Tv in room and Air conditionning. Heck they even furnish a Toothbrush. Maps of Osaka in the Hotel and guides to visit. All that for just 20 dollars per day! Business hotel so don't expect to make friends there, but Osaka station is 12 minutes of JR away. I totally recommend this place.
