had a really nice time at this hostelm found it very social really nice that the staff mix with the visitors all the time. breakfast is great and available until 2! no problems here, recommended.

The staff was really helpful and it is a clean, and quiet place. But the location is terrible and the directions on this site don't help all that much. Do yourself a favor and stay at the much better located Midland 1 hostel where the people are great as well.

The place can use a renovation (but you can say that about a lot in Bucharest), but the staff is very friendly and the place has a good atmosphere. It's a bit noisy though and we expected a little bit more of the excursions / group activities.
The hostel is all round a great hostel! The location is admittedly not great as it is a bus ride away but there arent many alternatives. There is a reason Lonely Planet rate this to be a great hostel. The hostel owners run the occasional great value trips (I took the Transylvania trip) which is excellent value for money.
I stayed at Butterfly Villa one night while in Bucharest and found the staff to be helpful and full of information. The bathrooms were extremely clean and linens spotless. It is near trams which will take you down to the train station or bus stops and also near an open air market and several grocers and bakeries. The best part is being near the park and spending a leisurely afternoon people watching and wandering the gardens!

We found it eventually. If coming from the airport, once you see the Arch and stop around the corner, its THEN the 2nd stop after that stop. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only problem was that there weren't enough seats around to sit and relax outside. Otherwise all good.
