“ It was nice staying there. Things were too good.Every receptionist were too good and we njoyed our stays a lot. Location was also good, sea beach was 10 min walk.But the only problem that I have faced is, you have to walk hard for 100 mtr on a slope, just kidding.. But that is always negligible as we have got so much other facilities.Security was too good.You will also get a bar on the ground floor, which will give you a quite descent drinks in a descen price. In one line: Full value of price. ”

“ My wallet got stolen and when I asked at the reception if I could use the hostel's phone to make a collect call (in which the hostel would not be charged) they said that I should buy a calling card or go to a public phone, even though it was raining outside. We stayed in a 6 person bedroom, 3 bunk beds, which was so crowded that the lockers for two of the beds were almost impossible to use since access to your stuff inside involved getting trapped in a corner of the room between to beds. ”

“ Disappointing. We got a private room so that showers would be easy. The shower was broken (we were still charged the full amount). One day, the "out of order" sign was gone. It was still broken. Staff were reluctant to do anything: Directions were vague, even when pressed for detail; they didn't want to contact the company that was taking us hang-gliding (arranged by them). The credit card machine was broken and they refused to delay payments - likely because it won't be fixed anytime soon. ”

“ My biggest complaint is with the front desk staff and the inflexibility. Can't change your reservations, must pay all up front. The front desk staff was not friendly; when I arrived, simply handed me a key. Didn't show me the room, didn't help me carry my 25kg suitcase up two flights of stairs. The bathroom ran out of toilet paper, and the front desk said "sorry, can't help you." Didn't really help answer questions. But the room and common areas were nice. Overall I got great value. ”

“ My first stay in a hostel and very good it was too. Great location close to the beach, metro, buses, shops etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and on suite bathroom were cleaned everyday. ”

“ great staff! they were not only persons but also friends for me (from receptionists up to security guards). Thanks to all! hope to turn back soon to find my new brazilian friends. Location is good, near Botafogo bay and Rio sul commercial centre too (15 min walk). Safety is ok. ”

“ The hostel is located in a nice building. At night they have a security guard. It's apr. 5 blocks away from Copacabana Beach. Not too far away. But I didn't like the hostel. Mostly because the staff was quite unfriendly. Not only I thought this. Furthermore a lot of things are forbidden (long list) what you have to sign when checking in. But nobody cares about. So when it was quite loud at 2:30 at night nobody of the staff cares. The atmosphere there wasn't very good. I was happy when I left. ”
