Out of my frank personal feeling,this hostel is very clean and have reasonable room price.The first Night I stay in OTHER HOSTEL which is expensive and the rooms are terrible!!!And here everything is new and staff are kind too.

I was a bit suspect when they offered me my hostelworld.com reservation fee back if I gave them a good review. They run lots of hostels in the same building, can\'t remember all the names. \'toms\' is one. There are better hostels for less money in the same building. My room was tiny (ok they all are in this building). Can\'t remember the name, but the phillipino run hostel in block A of this building was much cleaner, cheaper and friendlier.

When arriving at the hostel, was told to stay at Las Vegas instead of the booking hostel at Calton. Hostel is ok, but not happy about the staff attitudes. Although late check-out, but still need to be patient to explain to us with nice wordings. Not throwing words as such "don't come again!!!" In this kind of customer and service driven business, staff attitudes are very important. My advice is they must re-train and re-educate them inorder for them to contribute their BEST SERVICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BEST ATTITUDES!!!! : ((( Fine! Will not come back again. Thanks for the staff's advice, I will spend my money to a worth hostel with WARMTH and BEST STAFF ATTITUDES!

The room is very small. But any other thing are no problem. Hotel staffs are kind.

It\'s a old building and most of them are hostel and private apartments.However,this hostel is incredible \'NEW\' and the staff show their kindness to every guess.Appreciate their attitude and the room is very neat and can connect to Internet.Only the thing I want to say is at the Ground of the building is full of Indians and they will sell you different things.Very Aggressive!!! and the lift queue is sometimes need to wait long!!!Overall,the hostel is \'GREAT\'!!!

The location is perfect! Just few steps from the MTR and the Star Ferry. Altough the building a very old and surrounded by a lot of African poeple and other emigrants, the rooms are very clean and the Ghana Guy's who run the place are really nice and helpful!!!

If you book for this hostel, there is a change that the staff put you in one of the other hostels/guesthouses that they have. The building is old and poor. It is better to stay somewhere else. Not in this building!
The staff is extremely rude, and most of the time not avaible. If you try to check out before noon when they wake up good luck. Some guy also got into my room using his room key.
