Children under 12 are not allowed in dormitories. We stayed in a 4 bed room in their hotel, wich is correct. COULET, from France ~ 10th Aug 2009

This hostel is okay, but they don't deduct the deposit from the total fee as agreed on www.hostels.com The staff at the desk was cold and they acted as if they didn't know about it. Their conduct pretty dishonest and this happened to me twice there!! It is rather strange because in the summer most people book the hostel on the Internet. The rooms are clean, but noisy because they are next to a parking lot. One good point - a nice location. Read Owner Comments maryann, from USA ~ 20th Jul 2009

Not a prime location for a Kunming hostel, it required a cab ride to get to anywhere of interest which was a little inconvenient. The rooms are clean enough, pretty much the same fare you get with any 2* accommodation in China. We found it difficult finding the accommodation as it had been moved somewhere else; we were not notified about this. There were no excursions or activities on offer and the internet was very expensive. I suggest a different, more centrally located and better value hostel Sarah Katrine, from England ~ 22nd Jan 2009
