Nice camping, safe and clean. 30 minutes to Piazza Roma by bus. Good staff. However, cold to stay in fall or winter. Bungalows have not central heating. Otherwise is very cheap.

I'm not sure what else is available, but I wouldn't imagine you can get anything too much better than this in and around Venice, since staying in the city probably costs. Waiting for and taking the bus is slightly annoying when it's late, but the cabins are clean and relatively cheap.

If you go to visit Venice, this may not be the hostel 4 you, is really far from the centre. But if you're looking 4 a weekend away to enjoy and rest, it's perfect. The place is lovely and clean

The bus takes about 30mins and runs on time from venice but is always a little late from the camping ground. Ask the bus driver where the bus stop is. We had a cabin, and although they were small they were clean and the place was quiet. Would stay there again.

I had a very nice stay. the only thing that I would say what could be better is that the walls between the bungelos should be thicker. there ar some things that do NOT need to be head, if you know what I mean.

First, hostel 'camp' experience. Good alternative to the $+500/night charges on Venice island, especially when we are out almost 90% of the day. Teenage boys felt it was both an experience and a bit of a shock, compared to a 4-star hotel, but it did show comparative value to them. Good access via public bus. family owned...father a bit grouchy, but otherwise, the lead daughter was great...did not rent out the room despite arriving at 11pm...public bus and waterbus tickets sold on site... they did read the pre-notification via email that we would be late and respected it...straightforward...hot water...safe parking, adjacent to our private pre-fab bungalo...washer/dryer...AND even was insightful enough to sell a modest size bag of ice for 1 Euro...for anyone, yearning for ice outside of the USA, you can understand what I mean and how it is valued, especially in the humid Italian summer...good mom & pop bar/restaurant and mini-mart, mature shade trees, evening breezes off the water, quiet...We drove throughout the top 2/3's of Italy for over 2000 miles, it had its unique place among our other 3-star business class and 4-star hotels, and definitely was worth the very modest price. If planned right, it works as the perfect stopover between the conventional hotels to regroup, do laundry, be anonymous, be a bit adventurous, introduce your teen kids to something different, and simply keep on going to finish the vacation. Just remember to bring towels...no A/C, but the evening breezes and shade trees work well...for about $200 for four people, for three days, with a bed for everyone, and they clean the tight bathroom/shower everyday...you figure it out...BANG for the buck, safe, convenient parking and direct 15 minute bus ride directly onto the Venice island. Would consider doing it again in the context we used it, but I wouldn't do it for every single stopover stay and really only works in towns such as Venice. Would probably not work as well in a huge city such as Rome. Hey, Venice is evolved into a bit of a 'living museum' quasi-tourist trap and is not a real place where generations of families can continue to live and play to raise kids, so use the Camp Della Serenissima to drop-in and drop-out as a bit of a voyeur...Ciao!

It is a very neat place to stay as long as you aren't to high maintenance. bathrooms are a little walk outside, but they are very clean and large. Rooms are small but lock and are clean. there is a resturant and washer dryer on premises. can be a bit loud, but a nice place. bus ride 30 minutes, but are frequent out to the campsite, and is nice to get away from Venice during the evening. good place for the price.

This place is great as long as you don't mind being about 20 mins outside of Venice. The buses are regular and only €1 each way, so not much of a problem, and great if you're on a budget. The cabins are clean and comfortable, the restaurant is cheap and good and there's a shop. Probably more suitable for families/couples than party animals but I'd highly recommend this place.
