Siena was a short stop in our Tuscany vacation, and Camping Siena Colleverde provided a convenient, inexpensive, and comfortable night's sleep. Not having time to study the Siena bus system, we were perfectly comfortable with taking a late evening bus from the city center to the train station, and then walking up the hill to Camping. In hindsight, I wish I had taken a closer look at the campground map and information paper I was handed at check-in, as it clearly described how to use the bus system Dustin, from USA ~ 4th Oct 2011

Nice quiet camping , big swimming pool in front of our mobile home, good restaurant , but to bad that the don“t serve pizza on thuesday. The camping is good to reach from het station of siena with bus 3 (in front of the station) or take bus 8 from the piazza gramsci. Wendy, from Netherlands ~ 6th Sep 2011

it is located a bit far from the city centre. you can walk (takes 1 hour) or you can take a bus that runs every 30 minutes. there's a nice pool and good restaurant. :) Alexander Adam, from Denmark ~ 18th Aug 2011

Recommend clearer directions for someone arriving on a bus as to where to catch the specific bus to the campground.Really thankful that when we arrived in the rain with TONS of luggage, the staff offered to drive our suitcases in the golf cart to our little trailer. Also, maybe you could consider stocking a few of your trailers with cooking implements/pots and pans so that people who are backpacking without a car could cook. What a great city, within walking distance (long walk) to city center but very close to bus stop as well. We visited during the famous Palio what a great time, great people, and great memories. As far as the campsite it was very clean and the staff was great Holly, from USA ~ 22nd Aug 2011

The pool is fantastic and beautifully maintained as is the complex. I had a little cabin which was very clean and functional and the fridge was a great addition, only problem was no air con or even a fan so got very hot during the day. Still enjoyed my stay though, nice to be out of the city itself Joanne, from New Zealand ~ 30th Jun 2011
