Felt the pictures kind of lied, the rooms were not really that nice, nut for the price we paid it was OK. Difficult that hardly any of the staff member spoke english, and they had trouble finding our reservation that we made through hostelworld.com.. But it all worked out! I do not recommend the breakfast buffet though, go somewhere else that is cheaper and better!

I got several bug bites while in bed. Also I had a problem with the water machine in my room. The water was coming out with big brown particles. After waiting 15 minutes for room service, I called again and they said room service could not fix it at that time and offered me 2 bottles of water in replacement. When I checked-out, not only had they never fixed the water machine, they tried to charge me for the 2 bottles of water. I refused to pay for the water because it was not appropriate. The English of the front desk needs to improve for basic requests like a RECEIPT. Also the taxi they arranged for me charged me double the correct amount (he didn't use the meter).

The hotel was very nice, we were upgraded for free as the hotel had double booked which was nice. The location is great, walking distance from the Bell Tower and great restaurants and shops. The only negative comment is about the laundry services, they were VERY expensive. Though the staff did helpfully take us to a local laundry place and translate for us. Not a good service for backpackers though!

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Excellent value for maoney. Were able to organise day tours which can prove difficult in Xi`an. Very friendly and good English was spoken. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff here are very helpful and made our stay in Xian a very pleasant one. The only downside was that the air conn not very powerful so it was a bit warm. I would stay here again if I next come back to Xian

There is only one non smoking floor in the hotel and people were smoking on that floor as well. The hotel moved us to a nice suite at no extra cost to solve the problem.

Nice rooms in a hotel that has no particular character. Staff very, very attentive. English info at the desk. About a 1,5 km from the action but very easy (and cheap) to travel by bus. A good value for your money. Nothing to do with the hotel but the taxis waiting at the door (like in other big hotels in Xi'an) will all try to overcharge. Take a taxi a few meters farther on the street... Jean-Pierre Québec

The staff at the hotel went out of their way to help us and were so friendly and kind. The customer care manager xin gave us his phone number incase there were any language barrier issues so he could help. Compared to any other hotel i have stayed in in China the staff here were by far the best they should feel very proud of themselves. Only thing my mother would say would be change the carpet in the room!! Thank you.
