Great spot, just know that it will be noisy until late, cool!

A good place to stay in the heart of downtown, although if you want to be social, you may want to look for a hostel with a bar instead. They do organise nights out but there's not one single place for people to meet. Rooms are clean and you're free to come and go as you like which is good in a city like Toronto.

The stadd is very rude. They didnt care about you. We arrived before the check in hour. A tall Blondy girl insult us. I can't believe that!! No body of the 3 people in the front desk was doing something and even that they refused to make the check in. You have to wait so much to get their attention. Never planing to come back.

Definitely better than when I stayed in March. Building 56 is nicer than building 42 without a doubt. As with most hostels, you can hear a good amount. The only bummer about this place is that they require cash deposits for such items as parking and keys. Why not just put that on the credit card?!

Just a little too loud if you want to go to sleep rather early.

Great hostel. Nice staff, very clean, tons of bathroom w/showers, and a couple of cool lounges to hang out. Great location as it is in the center of the Entertainment District. Also, there are many long term guests, so the place feels very homey, as a lot of people know each other. The only bad thing is that is doesn\'t have a bar, but you can bring your own alcohol...but you have to buy it at the government runned liquour stores (LCBO), which are scarce, expensive and close early.

A wonderful first experience in both a hostel and in the city of Toronto! Special thanks to Sarah (for the fluffy pancakes) and Piercy (for the billiards, beer(s) and a great coin game). Thanks and caio!

4 and a half stars out of 5. A great place to stay with plenty of atmosphere. A stones throw from everything except the bottle shop - hope your boots are made for walking! Pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes close by catering for all - make sure you check out Burrito Boyz, just a quick stroll through the alley, for for a damn good cheap feed. The only downside is if you have to switch rooms, you have to check-out at 10.30am and can't check back in until 1.00pm - very annoying! When I book a room for multiple nights it's because I don't want to be forever checking in and out or moving. If I book for two nights and then want to extend - different story, I would expect to be moved and have to check out. Overall - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Friendly staff, great common areas, cheap internet access, daily activities organised - these usually involve drinking - one of the best hostels I've stayed in! Jeffro
