Airconditioned dormroom was much appreciated in the 40 degree Adelaide weather. No lock ups for valuables. Very close to food and walking distance to Womadelaide at the Bot gardens

The bathrooms were really dirty and crowded. The showers were just stalls with curtains, so there was nowhere to hang your clothes and towel, and nowhere to change in private. They only give you one sheet to use as a bed sheet and a blanket. You either have to pay for another blanket, or sleep on the bare mattress. The hostel seemed to cater to tour groups, so its a bunch of guests who all already know each other, staying for only one or two nights. So, not a good place for a single traveler. Also, there wasn't enough breakfast or apple pie for even a fraction of the hostel.

This hostel is not great. It's cheap and the location isn't bad but it's quite dirty and there's no air con in the rooms making them really smelly. The beds are very uncomfortable. The free apple pie isn't worth it. We had to queue for about half an hour and it was cold and still a bit frozen inside. The reception closes very early as well (8.30pm) which was very inconvenient.

An okay hostel but the large size and vacant spaces of it might not be to everyones taste. The rooms are basic and the place could be cleaner. staff were friendly but with only 1 person on reception at a time there could be lengthy queues.the free breakfast is ok...but don't bet on the free apple pie, because there is not enough to go around! There are no lockers in the rooms to lock up belongings.

The fact there was no lockers or anywhere safe to put your stuff in the room was very disappointing.
