Hostel wasn't like typical hostel.It was more like living in a house. 1st hostelin 10months travel that I have had double bed in! Brillant with tea and toast always available.

Bill was very welcoming and accomodating. I felt very much at home here. Internet was free, linen and towels were free, and food was free - what more could you ask for (and at such a cheap price)?

There seem to be a few very negative reviews on this place... ignore them. Bill is a wonderful host, full of info and always happy to help. The hostel is small and intimate unlike some of the larger ones i have stayed at. Yes its 25 blocks from Capitol, but the X2 bus gets you there almost from right outside the front door. IF your coming to DC then you could do a lot worse than staying here. Thank you Bill for a great stay.
Great place, as a hostel should be. Loads of soul, and double beds for everyone as well!
