- “ Beds are very comfortable and dormitories are not overcrowded. The owner and the atmosphere are very friendly. Moreover, food as bread and peanut butter are provided for free. Good access if you are driving, parking available. It was exactly what I was looking for. ”

- “ BED BUGS After all the positiv reviews, i was really shock when I arrived there. this hostel is just a dirty little familyhouse with beds in every room. the neighborhood is not the best, but the staff is very friendly. But there are alot of BED BUGS and thats just disgusting. I would not recomend this hostel to a friend ”

- “ I very much appreciate that Lofty has three(free)computers for guest to use. There are two large common areas that each have a TV with comfortable seating. Now that summer is here, I noticed that DC has had some really hot days. My remedy for that has been to stay inside and enjoy Lofty's air conditioning that really pumps out the cold air. ”

- “ I stayed for 3 days plus extended for one more. The hostel isn't as close as hostels in downtown or chinatown, but it's on a freq. bus line so you can reach the Mall within minutes. The hostel itself is nice. I especially liked that beds are bigger than usual. Manager is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to a friend. ”
