Great hostel if you enjoy sleep deprivation or are an insomniac. No enforcement of the 11pm quiet time - partying, shouting, drinking and cooking til 4am then the clattering kitchen clean crew moved in at 4am. No fire doors between common area/kitchen and bedrooms so all the noise travels into all the rooms. Not recommended unless you stay up all night.

Fantastic place to stay in Cairns!!
Staff were very helpful in organising our trip along the East Coast and anything we asked them was not a problem.Accomodation was dated but very clean.Staff were very friendly.Highly recommended....

The staff were really helpful, and booked us in for an amazing reef tour and rafting, both at discount prices, ensuring we had an enjoyable stay. I would happily go again.

friendly helpful staff and a very clean comfortable hostel,need to put ceilings up in lower rooms for soundproofing as you can hear every movement from above,internet costing a bit wierd($2 just to log on),nice pool and kitchens

It was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Cairns. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Cairns.
Great Hostel walking distance to all the good stuff. Lots of info and tours. Staff was knowledgeable. Great big apartment style room for the private double with kitchen! Internet a bit pricey.

The location is pretty good, on the Esplanade..about 10 mins walk to the heart of Cairns. The free dinners at the Woolshed is great (food is okay) but other hostels do that too. The people were pretty clique-y. They are a tour operator as well so its easy to book your adventures. Suppose to be quiet at 11 but people were still on the patio at 4:30am

We had a great stay here. The Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Our twin room was huge with comfortable beds, fridge and clothes hanging space. Free carparking right out front was great too! would highly recommend
This is the best hostel that we have stayed in,we had a double room with on-suit and it was like a 3* hotel,its right next to the sea and shops
