A very nice elderly couple runs this hostel. Gave us a varm and very good welcome. Felt as staying with my grandparents, but not in a bad way!
They took time to hear you out, no matter what.

The Ochoa's are wonderful and inviting but the location leaves a bit to be desired. It's a cab ride from Plaza de Armas and the street is busy an loud. The room was clean and the hot water plentiful, however. The rooftop deck is also a nice bonus and offers nice views of Cusco.

PERFECT! This is the best hostel we´ve ever stayed in. The owners are so kind and friendly and made us feel right at home. They are the nicest people ever, have an immaculate home, hot showers, extremely secure, and very inviting. No, it´s not the craziest party ever, but if you want a quiet place to relax with good people, this is it! Wonderful people make all the difference. Great, hot showers and very clean, it feels like home and is within walking distance of Cuzco's main plaza (Plaza de Armas)... or just take a taxi for 2 soles (60 cents US). We felt like we had a pair of very loving grandparents in the Ochoas, who truly cared about us. Genuine people and wonderful place. Enough said. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!!!

Es un lugar muy tranquilo si uno quiere relajarse, va en familia o en pareja. Es sumamente barato para lo que ofrecen ya que la atención y los servicios son extremadamente bueno. Lo recomiedo ampliamente y no se basen en la localización ya que todo en cuzco esta muy cerca.

I could not have been happier with my stay at Casa Familiar Ochoa. The room was very nice and clean. The familia was as nice and as helpful as possible.I felt very safe though alone in a strange city.
i would reccomend this hostal to anyone.
