- “ Nice staff and essentially very okay. The breakfast is a bit boring after a few days. I had a newly renovated room but unfortunately they were redoing the room next to me (resulting in construction noise 7 days a week from 6.30 am to 9 pm), my room opened to a sewage-smelling areaway, there were several cm of dust under my bed and a noisy bunch of kids booked into the dorm next to me. For the rest, it was a nice experience. ”

- “ The hostel was amazing the room was clean and comfortable .Character is also good, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is awesome since it is close to the city centre so you can venture in the touristy things you have planned for Barcelona but its neighbourhood is also full of pretty plaças and bars where lots of locals hang out. recommended.! ”

- “ This was our second time in Barcelona and now we know where to come back to for our third! Casa Gracia is in perfect location, close to Gracia, the best barrio in the city- young, lively and with lots of cool bars and shops. Also the staff was very helpful and informative, and the atmosphere is young and homey, with a large common area, terrace to seat and eat in the sun and a well equipped kitchen. All in all me and my boyfriend had a very positive experience and for sure recommend it to others ”

- “ The showers cabine should be repaired (second floor), because the water flows out of the cabin and the floor is getting wet. thanks ”

- “ Casa Gracia has a great location and beautiful decor, so overall, I found my stay decent. However, I found that the staff (not the interns) had a generally bad attitude and acted like they would rather be somewhere else than helping/checking-in/talking to you. My only other complaint was that the lobby closed at 12 am. I felt like I was 17 back in boarding school- complete with chaperones. Breakfast = toast and instant coffee. I would recommend this place to a subdued, boring type of traveller. ”

- “ A large hostel that's quite clean but lacks character. No locker in the shared room I was in is a big negative to me. The private rooms I saw are very nice. ”

- “ The atmosphere is great and the location is wonderful, it is just down the street from all the name brand shops. the metro is also very close by. my only complaint is the washrooms in the building are sparse (1 shower per floor). ”

- “ I will not recommend this place. It is really nicely decorated and has a nice patio where you could sit and converse with other travelers. However, the patio and common areas are only open until 11 and there is no wifi in the rooms. Because of the time difference it was very difficult for me to contact my family members back at home without getting yelled out for talking on the phone past 11 pm. The atmosphere was boring and the activities organized by the staff were very mediocre. The rooms could get prett ”
