- “ This hostel is definitly a reason to visit Faro. The city is small and you a very near te center (not a minute walk). The hostel is furnished with love, to sit on the terrace is great. Very very great atmosphare, cocking together every night. Unfortunately we missed the roof barbecue, so we have to come back! ”

- “ I spent a great weekend in Casa d'Alagoa where staff was extremely friendly. I booked a double bed private room and the only "but" I have are the lack of heating and blinds (curtains were really thick and light woke us up too early). I know it is not a 4* hotel, but for 25 euros / person / night, I expect to sleep as much as I want, which I couldn't. ”

- “ We stayed three nights in one of the double rooms. Location in Faro is great. The staff was helpful and the hostel offers dinners for all guests and other activities as Island trips, which creats a friedly atmosphere. But... there could be some im provements done. Neither the living room nor the roof terrace invite to stay. The communual area looks very temporary and since there are still works on the house going on you feel a bit like living on a construction site. ”

- “ This hostel is a great place to hang out with fellow travellers. We were there on a Saturday and the hostel put on an 'all you can eat bbq chicken and all you can drink sangria' night. Awesome. The main area where this hostel could improve is the bathrooms and toilets. They are quite smelly and could do with some modernisation. This didn't stop us from enjoying our time there, though. ”

- “ Charming old house near the historical centre. Lovely staff: the hostel has just been taken over by a new owner, they've created a little paradise! Our private room was very nice, also had a private bathroom. Only problem: the shower curtain wasn't very efficient so the floor got flooded every time, ask for a mat or towel! Can be a bit noisy when there are people speaking loudly in the living-room at night, don't forget it's an old house! Great breakfasts! ”

- “ We wanted to stay for a week, after one night changed their minds because of the heat in the room. Location is good. Purely in the rooms. In the summer it is impossible to live. The employees said at first one payment, and upon arrival had to pay extra more. ”

- “ We stayed for 3 nights in a double bed room in this hostel. The room and the bathroom were very nice and clean. You have free wifi, can use a laptop, use the hostel safe for small stuff and a washing machine for 5€. There's also a very nice "living room" with chill-out music and very nice staff at 24h. Breakfast was okay. Especially the location is very good: near marina and city center. We think that 60€ per night and room was a bit expensive, but we really liked our stay in Faro =) ”

- “ The hostel is well located. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is free. We only stayed one night at the hostel so we do not have an objective opinion of the ambiance but the staff was friendly. I would not hesitate to return. ”
