Altino, the owner of Casa do Rosario in the place Ribeira Grande is a very hospitable man, who does his utmost to ensure that his guests are content and if any thing fails to work in the hostel, he makes sure it gets repaired as soon as possible. The hostel is small and comfortable and sitting on the terrace you have a beautiful view of the mountains. I can definitely recommend it to travellers wanting to stay in the North of the island of San Miguel. I had a wonderful time staying there. Maya, from Netherlands ~ 24th Aug 2011
