good location in ipanema. excellent friendly staff (spoke english, portugal, spanish,some german, some french). street was full of hostels so you find people to talk to. security wasnt the best, no door or window in the room but didnt have any problems with valuables. security at street was good. breakfast was good (fruit,bread,eggs),internet free (with wlan too) and service in general was VERY GOOD. A lot of restaurants and bars around it. Highly recommended by a couple from Chile!

With my French and basic Portuguese, I got by just fine, and the staff were always helpful in helping me find places. The terrace is a great place to meet other travelers in the casa along with those from other casas in the courtyard.
