Not the best hostel I've stayed in, but it was ok.

Worst hostel I have stayed at yet. The showers were nice, however...the staff was very removed from interaction; the bed was very uncomfortable and small; there was no breakfast, and there was no decent parking.

This place is really sweet. Cashel is a charming little town. The staff are fantastic! ... very friendly and helpful. The showers were a bit crazy though... I recommend wearing a floating device, such as a life jacket, or else you run the risk of floating away with the gush of water flooding the bathroom.

Really good hostel with massive kitchen. The staff are very friendly too. Nice place.

I really like the private twin room we were in but there were 30 screaming teenage girls there for a hurling competition and they were loud and running around until midnight and the staff didn't do anything about it. Also, the owner tried to pressure us into upgrading to the bed and breakfast which was extremely annoying

The hostel was very nice but I wouldn't recommend going to Cashel in the first place. Apart from the Rock there is nothing there. Cahir seemed a far nicer place to stay.
I guess you don't need much security in such a small town, but the rooms didn't have individual locks. Only the front door, and it was only locked during certain hours. But we felt safe nonetheless. The bathroom wasn't good though, water leaked, and the shower was weird! Very hard spray that went all over the bathroom!

the hostel is very cute, the staff is really kind and the location is perfect. Thumb up!
safes or rooms with keys would be better for more security
