Let's face it: castaway's is far away from the city center, and although there is a shuttle service it can be annoying to have to book it 20 min ahead. In all other apects, Castaway's offers you everything you expect from a Backpackers! Good facilities, friendly and helpful staff that can organize any tour for you and specials at holidays as well as a dinner in a pub included each day!!! Patrick, from Switzerland ~ 2nd Jan 2012

Staff did more than was required to be helpful, and regularly checked the kitchen area to ensure that it was always clean and tidy. They were largely responsible for the friendly and homely atmosphere, and despite my age difference to most of the other guests, I was made to feel very welcome.
