I highly reccomend this hostel if you are looking for a place that is fun. The location is killer, the staff is really friendly and the hostel makes it extremely easy to meet people and socialize. I have been to a few hostels in Edinburgh and this was my favorite by far.

Best of the ten Hostels I stayed at on my trip, by far.
Location...right next to the castle in the heart of the city. Multiple huge lockers per person. Staff was extremely friendly, joking around as if everyone were old friends. The lounge and kitchen are large, extensive, and the atmosphere is incredible. The staff puts on programs like free tours and pub crawls. The beds were the most comfortable of the trip, and the showers worked.

Great hostel! In my opinion the best in Edinburgh. Great location, helpful staff, and a very large, fun common room. If you looking for a memorable visit to Edinburgh this is the place to stay.

This was my favorite hostel! They have an excellent location for exploring Edinburgh, and great lounge to hang out on a cold day! Friendly and helpful staff, I wish I could have stayed longer!

i was very disappointed with the room. we paid extra for a quad room which was so small only 2 people could actually move around the floorspace at the same time. if 4 backpackers had been in the room there would not have been enough room for 4 backpacks. really should only have been a double room. it was mixed aswell so for getting changed absolutely no space for privacy and bathrooms very far away from rooms too with just the basic facilities.
