I booked my stay 3 weeks in advance and a week before they emailed me about 25 times about how I need to go to a different address. I called the day of the booking and they said the address they sent me isn't the one I even go to, instead they booked us at "graffiti hostel" (completely horrible by the way). It's not the nicest looking place in the world, but its a block from the metro station Diagonal (with access to most of the major lines in the city), 10 minutes from Sagrada Familia and La Rambla, and the staff is super friendly. There are lockers in the rooms to store your things and I never felt uneasy leaving my valuables at home. If you're looking for a cheap, easy place to stay I would definitely recommend this hostel. paying only a few bucks for a hostel means getting only a few things: a bed and a toilet. The hostel is not easy to find, there is no sign outside of the building. Also, there is only one washroom with 3 showers for nearly 45 people.. but not enough.. the bathroom is just awful, it sounds ridiculous that they clean it every day because it looks as if it was not cleaned in the last 2 years. The location of the hostel is really perfect, it is in a luxury street in the middle of the city and it is close to everywhere. There is a metro station in front of the hostel.
