I liked the stay in Caveland but unfortunately the rooms were very humid. The owners said it was because of the time of the year. But I think it is in the nature of the climate circomstances of a cave.

I had a perfect time in Caveland- the winery is one of the coolest places i ever stayed- and the staff is extrem friendly. i had a great time, one of my best hostels i have ever been. Caveland is not directly in Fira, but its only a short 15 min walk to the city and so it is a quieter place. Every room has its own character (liitle caves) and you have a big area around to hang out. lovely place Matthias, from Germany ~ 28th Mar 2012

The owners and Michael were really friendly and helpful! It's a fun and unique hostel. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathrooms are very clean. I was the first guest at the newly furnished room so no complaints! Is the pool done yet? I would come back again because it feels like home here! Improvement: computers for the guests?
