The room was a little bit too dirty. For exmaple the old armchair was unusual. It would be better to clean the room before guests arive. In our little wardrobe was garbage. Also the toilets weren`t in the best sitaution. Nevertheless it was a great stay in your hostel! The price is cheap. The people at reception were friendly and it was save. Except cleanliness, every thing is fine. However, every thins was falling apart. I heard they have a plan to renovate the hostel, which is alsolutely understandable. Literally dirty dirty dirty but nice staff!! heesun, from South Korea ~ 22nd Jan 2012

This hostel is very dirty. And its strange because i would always see staff cleaning the toilets, but both the rooms & toilets were dirty, not to mention the kitchen! In the room i stayed in there was a very bizarre person who lived there and had tape all over the place with the word private written on it. tho its well located, they could clean up a little bit more. I've been travelling around a lot & never in my life have I stayed at a hostel like this. SInce I lived in London for a year I didnt expect much for the money but friendliness should definitely be included. Also the pictures on the website do not give a proper image of what it really looks like. To top it off cleaning staff asked me whether I had a problem when I was waiting for him to finish to have a shower. It is nor normal to clean at 9am when ppl want to get ready to go out. It was a good place for the low price and a good location. My only complaint is the beds, though they were comfortable they made the highest squeaky sound every time you moved wich made it impossible to sleep through the night, especially when you're four in one room. I would recomend the hostle but bring earplugs! Louise, from Sweden ~ 11th Nov 2011

I wasn't very impressed with this hostel. Some of the staff were consistently rude, and overall I didn't feel all that welcomed. There were no lockers and it was difficult to meet people (I only saw people at checkout). Speaking of which, in order to get your full deposit back, you MUST have your first receipt with you! I can understand the deposit for the key, but why the hell do they need the receipt? You also had to pay the full 50pence for 30min of internet, even if you only used 5min of i Timiah, from USA ~ 3rd Nov 2011

Its cheap and central and its a hostel, not a five star hotel so couldnt complain, was only there for about four hours during my time in London so i cant give a fair account, but from what i seen the girl at reception was very friendly and hot. rooms were fine. only complaint i could have was that there was no lift and we stayed on the top floor, we needed sherpas to help us get up all those steps, we lost some good men along the way. seriously though for the price of the room its great value Karl, from Ireland ~ 3rd Oct 2011
