The bar at Chachacha is heavily patronized by expats or perhaps they are white Africans who do business in Zambia and surrounding countries. I found this unappealing for travelers who seek local experiences.

Thanks for the comment, I am not too sure what is meant by this? The bar at the backpackers is frequented by a number of locals both expat and not. All these people are members of the bar, and In fact the majority of the people are Zambians rather than expats. If you are after more of a Zambian Shabeen style bar then we can certainly point you in the direction of a safe establishement. But that isn't what we are offering.
