Blythe & Greg were incredible. I just stayed at a pension in savannah and my car was broken into. I was an emotional mess and wasn't going to come to Charleston and Blythe comforted me. Great stay and met fantastic people from all around the world. jana, from USA ~ 30th Jun 2009

The location was excellent. The staff helped me find local places to eat. The house has cute artwork on the doors. The have a good map of Charleston. There free breakfast in the morning is good and convenient, and the free clean sheets, blankets, and towels were awsome! Amaris, from USA ~ 16th May 2009

I liked this hostel. Building has a lot of character. Bordering on an unsafe area but believe that it's improving. Good parking with lots of light. Bunks in the 4-bed dorm I was in seemed quite decent, although furniture was rather spartan (almost nothing besides bunks) with one shade missing from window. Bathrooms were nicely done, but not particularly clean (and that's coming from a bachelor who hostels!). The kitchen area is nice, but not a lot of pots/pans/plates. Would stay again.
