Khaosan Rd is really noisy specially at night, but this hostel is so silent and relaxing in spite of located in center of the Rd. Also staff is very kind and friendly. Room is clean but hotter than outside. Yuta, from Japan ~ 29th Apr 2012

Location is good. They have some really big bugs in there that fly around, but they might be everywhere! Staff was OK, but I don't recommend tobook any tours or transfers from them. We went to Phuket with the bus that supposed to travel 14h, but it took 22 hours and service was really impolite on the bus!!! Still, for the backpackers it's perfect. Breakfast was poor. We really enjoyed our stay at Charoendee. This is a great place to stay. It´s in the middle of Khao San Road, which makes it very central. It´s close to lots of things to see and do around in Bangkok. The Staff is lovely. They are really helpful. We got tricked with a bustour from Bangkok to Siem Reap, the pick up never came, and the staff at Charoendee helped us complaining on the agance and we got everything fixed. Instead of bus we got private taxi for the same cost. Very recommended hostel Camilla, from Norway ~ 4th Jan 2012

Sometimes it is hard to fall asleep. Khoa San Road lives all the time. But we really enjoyed the atmosphere of this Road. Rooms were nice, bathroom quite clean but the staff was not so great. It was really hard to communicate. But all in all - it was one of the best places we stayed during our whole trip. :) Małgorzata, from Poland ~ 15th Jan 2012
