we were told we would be getting a room together but were split up when we arrived. we were also not informed that the price in pesos would be 20% more than the price in dollars until after we had already paid.

Che Lagarto é dos melhores locais para se ficar. Divertido, limpo e com a galera mais animada de um hostel. Recomendado!

Really nice big, spacious hostel. Comfy beds, huge kitchen, loads of communal space, cleaners are amazing-never seem to stop working! Hostel is always clean! Hostel is a few blocks from the main street and supermarket near by! Sebastian was fab! Made us feel at home and always helped us out, nothing was too much trouble for him. Def recommend a visit here! Really nice bread for brekktçy aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch out for your food in the fridge, people have a tendancy to take what they want...

This was a pretty hostel. Very spacious with patios and large, well-lit common areas and my dorm had gigantic ceiling to floor windows. I felt that my stuff and I were very safe because you had to be buzzed in at the front door, there were locks on the doors, and lockers for each bunk. The surrounding area isn't that great, but you're a short walk from the Los Heros station and the Centropuerto bus to the airport. The staff were really polite and helpful. I only stayed one day so I can't judge the fun factor.
