Not the best hostel in the area. Everything was a bit run down - eg broken doors, no hot water in some showers, broken chairs, tv room out of action. Staff forgot to mention additional charge for internet (we refused to pay) & credit card machine broken when we checked in. Did not make up room. Try somewhere else first.

Si viajas solo (a) como yo lo hice este lugar es el mejor porq te permite conocer gente, es muy sociable, lo mejor!!! Si lo que buscas es confort no es tan recomendable porque las instalaciones no están para eso. Yo lo recomiendo

A good hostel for meeting people, ac only comes on at night which can make it a little uncomfortable during the day. Staff were lovely.

I stayed at this hostel for 6 nights. Although I met some great people there and had a good time. I felt the hostel was very poorly managed. Only one shower out of 4 had hot water, one of the two toilets didn´t flush, the volume on the tv didn´t work and the security gate was broken, all for the entire period of my stay. The staff were really friendly, although i know the one guy there worked 18 hours one day. As i said, poorly managed.

This is a great place to stay, especially for younger travelers. There was a great diversity of people staying there and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good atmoshphere, pretty good location, and tons of activities offered daily.

A great hostel with a good feel about it. Staff (especially the reception staff) are great, ridiculously helpful, friendly and laid back (not to mention beautiful!) and theres so many trips and excusions available, of which the favela tour is a MUST, although we climbed the christ on foot ourselves and found that more rewarding. All in all an excellent hostel in a great location (few blocks to beach, metro, loads of buses) with a good bar and a great atmospere,
