- “ I made a reservation for Che lagarto Hostel in Ilha Grande, but...because of a "tropical storm" blew the roof or maybe because of the overbooking they didn´t have a room, so we were moved to another hostel, worst of course and never recieved a refund. The location is great but you have a lot of drunk noisy people at night and nobody sleep. I choose Ilha grande because it is a quiet place to relax, but this hostel is not.Another tip, in my 6 days there, NEVER change my sheets ”

- “ Che Lagarto is a youth hostel. Don't go there if you're looking for a nice and quiet hostel. If you on the other hand are looking for a big hostel with a lot of young people, this is the place for you. ”
